Simple Crafts for the Makerspace

When you think of a Makerspace, most people imagine robots, 3D printers and technology, but they can be as high or low-tech as needed. Join us to learn some simple crafts (knitting/crocheting, duct tape, Perler beads, cardboard, clay, etc.) that you can bring out for low-tech days. Materials will be provided for the hands-on portion.

Introduction to Tinkercad

Explore 3D modeling in this introduction to Tinkercad, a free, web-based CAD software. You will learn how to create 3D models from scratch and modify existing models. Bring your own laptop/Chromebook (and a mouse) or use ours and leave with an .stl file or two ready to print on a 3D printer!
