*In December 2015 the NEOnet ProgressBook Suite will be moving to the hosted environment. The current scheduled down time will be the evening of December 22nd through December 28th. We will be testing the hosted environment the entire month of December before the official move. We are looking for volunteers to either test at their office computers or attend a designated open lab. If you are interested please contact studentservices[at]neonet[dot]org
*The ProgressBook Suite Retreat hosted by Software Answers is scheduled for April 18-19, 2016. District users are welcome to attend both days this year. Attendees will earn 9.67 CEUs for the two-day conference. For more information please go here.
DASL (Student Information) Update
Reminder to those who DID put their Quarter 1 report cards up for parents: If you need to re-run your report cards due to a mistake or student grade changes, go back to the ORIGINAL load settings and click the pencil. Click the blue Rerun link next to the Status column. Then click Run Ready Jobs button. This will place a new set of Quarter 1 report cards out there and the ‘Paper as of Date’ will change for all students in Parent Access.
Report period FY15D – March Follow-up for FY15 reporting has been extended until Friday, October 30, 2015.
ODE has now automated the 2015D STU_CTEMAR reports, and should processed nightly for distribution to the districts.
WKC – Where Kids Count reports are scheduled to be released this last week of October. This will be a level 2 report that is to be updated daily.
DASL Calendars-Since the 15.1.4 release, it is suggested that you look at your EMIS Exceptions on your sub-calendars to ensure the correct number of hours are indicated for each exception. For example if your teachers have a Staff Professional Development day the script could not determine how many hours of PD your district provided that day. This can be fixed by click the pencil on that day in the sub-calendar screen and fixing the EMIS Exception hours.
ProgressBook GradeBook Update
When to run Preliminary and Final Report Cards for Gradebook
IF you plan on posting report cards to ParentAccess and be stored in the Electronic File Cabinet
Do not run Finals as a way of testing the report cards. Run Preliminary Report Cards for that. As explained in our trainings, Final Report Cards have several steps when running them. Make sure to give yourself a sufficient amount of time to run the Finals if you have a specific date that you want the report cards to be sent to the Electronic File Cabinet and posted on ParentAccess.
