Tech Tools for Online Testing
INFOhio created Tech Skills for Online Testing PearlTree which includes 16 technology skills that students in elementary, middle and high school need to be proficient in before taking the online assessments. The purpose of this Pearltree is to create a place where teachers, librarians, administrators, parents and students can visit to obtain information on the tech skills for online assessments as well as places to practice and learn the tech skills, as well as ideas of how to integrate these skills into everyday classroom lessons. Other information included on the PearlTree are the technical requirements encouraged and various sample assessments, which come from the Ohio Department of Education, PARCC and AIR. The PearlTree is located at http://www.pearltrees.com/brandi_young/infohio-skills-online-testing/id12112629. An INFOhio flyer on the tool can be found online at http://www.infohio.org/educators/library/toolkit/flyers The title of the flyer is “Flyer - Tech Skills for Online Testing.”
INFOhio will be holding a webinar on October 16 at 2:30 to demonstrate and answer questions on the Tech Skills for Online Testing PearlTree.
