DASL (Student Information) Update
Save time by scheduling your House Bill 410 attendance error reports to be delivered right to your email inbox! Scheduling reports for delivery is possible for those who have a security role of any of the following AH-Schedule Report, AH-Full Admin Report Manager, or NEOnet District Admin.  Users should go to Local-Ad Hoc Reports, expand the Attendance folder, and right click on either Attendance Process Warnings or Attendance Skipped Student (remember the reports with the word ‘detail’ after the name are True Excel options). There you will see an option to click Schedule Report.

There are three tabs to fill out asking when and how often you want the report delivered, requesting your filters, and deciding the email recipients.

Recurrence Enter a Schedule Name, Export Type, Time of the Day, and how often. We would recommend weekly or bi-weekly. Click Next

Filters: Click on each field under the Filter By section and ensure a value is filled in. TIP: You could add the filter StudentEMISFS.EmisSituation to further filter your students that only have certain EMIS Situations. Click Next

Recipients: Enter valid email addresses in either the To, Cc, or Bcc. Click Finish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DataMap:

Third Grade OCBA (Next Generation) Fall scores are available to be loaded in DataMap from StudentInformation/DASL.  Question on how to import data in DataMap, please contact Janet Hayes at Hayes[at]NEOnet[dot]com or ext 601112.

The OCBA Standards Lists displays the Grade 3 Reading Promotion Score along with the ability to sort the Grade 3 Reading Promotion score as well as exported to excel.

For those who choose to participate as a group, please note that NEOnet has already registered in STARS for this session. Acknowledgment of attendance will be based on sign-in sheets from the ITC to ODE.

If you choose to not participate with the group session, additional January 2018 ODE ITC/Training dates are available through the STARS application.

Prior registration is required. The January trainings will be offered on six different dates/times. The six trainings will include topics related to the Student (S) Collections, missing lists, the Teacher Licensure Course (TLC) Status Report, and other updates/topics. Registrants will be able to select a date that best fits their schedule at the time of registration, as long as space is available.

Registration is now available in the STARS application.

ProgressBook GradeBook Update 
Semester 2 Classes and Rosters

Teachers may have hidden their Semester 2 classes at the beginning of the school year.  From the teacher home page, they can click on EDIT list, uncheck the Hide Box and save. 

Teachers who have semester 2 classes are able to view the roster prior to the start of the semester.  These students are hidden.  Clicking on the Semester 2 class, clicking update roster at the bottom left, students will be listed with clocks by their names and hide? box checked.  Teachers can uncheck the Hide box, click update.  They will now be able to see the class roster on the class dashboard. 

 

Special Services Update

New Special Education Forms

The software developers have received the new forms from the ODE and are currently analyzing the changes to the forms so that they can begin development.  We will keep everyone posted on when they are planning to have the changes implemented.

D2D Transfer/Import

Administrators at other districts who use ProgressBook Special Services can transfer the tasks for a students who have transferred to your district.  You can then import these tasks and store them as part of the student’s information in Special Services.  After the tasks are imported into your district, you can view them from the Completed Tasks screen.   You can also use any or all of the information on the forms for the current year by creating a copy of the task or create a new page within a task using a page from the imported tasks.

We welcome Stow-Munroe Falls City School district to Special Services.   They now ready to accept transferred tasks from surrounding school districts.  Next year they will be ready to export.
