Technology Integration

With so many schools turning to Google G-Suite as their go to software application for students and teachers,  it is only fitting to talk about some of the amazing updates that have happened to the Google G-Suite since the school year started. Google is always listening to their audience when it comes to making improvements and these improvements are really geared towards teachers utilizing the software in their classrooms. The most recent changes are listed here. First up, if you are a Google Sites user, the new interface allows you to now create a hierarchy of Pages on the Pages menu. Now you can make subpages rather than just making all pages top level. Second, if your district uses G-Mail, you now have the ability to enable Add-Ons for your G-Mail! This is big news as you can now start finding productivity Add-Ons to help you work faster and more efficiently. Lastly, the final G-Suite update for today’s Technology Integration update is that Google Calendar has unveiled a brand new look. Mostly, this is just a face-lift for the application that hasn’t changed much since its inception years ago. If you are a district that uses it a lot, you will more than likely appreciate the update look and feel of the calendar. You can more efficiently see and customize your settings as well as make custom views. G-Suite is continuing to be the forefront leader in school districts! If you need training on the G-Suite applications, please contact the Technology Integration Department at NEOnet.
