ODE has reopened Report period FY13D with an updated manifest (version 2) that allows the reporting of CTE Student Assessments (GY) for Local Education Agencies that failed to report those assessments during the 12N reporting period. The FY14D version 2 manifest has also been updated to include CTE Industry Assessment GY records.
Reporting of CTE Technical Assessments (GY) Now Allowed in March (D) Period
In the past, only CTE Industry Assessments (GU assessment type) have been reported in the March (D) reporting
period. Effective immediately, CTE Technical Assessments (GY assessment type) can also be reported for students who are included in the GV record extract for March. This represents a final opportunity to add any missing GY assessments to the data set that will be used on future CTPD report cards.
Any GY assessments previously reported in a yearend reporting period do not have to be resubmitted in March, as the March records for both GU and GY are combined with records of the same type from the prior yearend during perform report and CTPD report card processing. It is also acceptable, though not required, to re-report scores in March that were previously reported in yearend.
ProgressBook GradeBook Update
If you needed to extend your school year, there are a few things to verify in GradeBook.
Reporting Period Dates – Admin home page, Grading Setup, Reporting Periods. Verify the Term End Date is correct so
the assignments are included in the averaging of the report card mark for the reporting period.
Report Card Entry Start Date, Entry End Date – Click EDIT to the right of the reporting period. Verify the Entry Start
Date and Entry End dates are correct.
Calendar Days – Admin Home Page, Annual Setup, School Calendars, open the calendars and verify the last day of school is YELLOW indicating a Full Day. If it is not, click on the Month and the NUMBER of the Date that needs to be set to a Full Day.
