DASL (Student Information) Update
Ad Hoc Memberships is a very useful tool used within DASL/StudentInformation, but sometimes creating a list of student id’s that are comma-separated can be a cumbersome part of the Ad Hoc Membership process. Did you know we have a URL on the front page of DASL that converts student id’s from an Excel/Google Sheet column into a comma-separated list? The URL is https://convert.town/column-to-comma-separated-list, and you simply copy the student numbers from a sheet and paste it into the first box. The second box automatically makes the numbers comma separated for you to select, copy and paste in the Ad Hoc Membership creation screen. Give it a try the next time you need to create a membership of students to use within DASL!

CTE March D Reports

 

GNIS-144- This is a level-2 report that indicates that placement data is missing. Review your students follow up surveys and complete if needed.  

 

Current Year Concentrators

Many districts are already able to report the program of concentration for the current year. You may see the reports below related to the data being reported and / or derived from ODE.

 

(CTAC-102) CTE Concentrator Accountability FY POC Missing

 This report lists students who do not have a CTE Program of Concentration (POC) reported in the current year. ODE has derived for students having more than one completed Workforce Development course.

When a student has a completed course in the current fiscal year, any CTE Program of Concentration that aligns to that completed course will have a row on the CTAC-102 report. Districts need to review the generated potential CTE Programs of Concentration on the CTAC-102 report and report the appropriate CTE Program of Concentration in the FN Record. If the district believes the generated potential CTE Programs of Concentration are not correct, the student’s course enrollment and earned credit data should be reviewed.

 

CTAC-103) CTE Concentrator Accountability FY POC Unexpected This report lists students whose reported CTE Program of Concentration does not align to a CTE Program of Concentration derived by ODE for students having more than one completed Workforce Development course. Beginning of Year Setup Meetings will be scheduled by completing the GradeBook Survey. These meetings are for users with School Administrator or Master Access and responsible for setting up GradeBook and ParentAccess.  Integration must be completed, as this is hands-on.
