SPECIAL NOTE: Reminder that GradeBook, SPS, and ParentAccess, will be shut down at 3 p.m. on Friday June 29th for summer rollover and maintenance. DASL (Student Information) does not shutdown for the summer, except for normal Wendesday maitenance nights.
DASL (Student Information) Update
With the 2017-2018 school year coming to a close we wanted to remind districts of a few things. First, don’t forget to keep running promotion and bulk enrollment to ensure that you got any last minute students that enrolled late in the school year. To promote students make sure you are in the 17/18 school year. To bulk enroll make sure you are in the 18/19 school year.
Secondly, please remember the withdrawal scenarios for students that withdraw over the summer.
Scenario 1: A student finishes out the 17/18 school year and lets the district know by June 30 that they won’t be back for 18/19. You will withdraw the student in 17/18 and WHACK out of 18/19.
Scenario 2: Previously Attending Student Summer Withdrawal-A student finished out the 17/18 school year and was promoted to 18/19. The student will not be returning to the district in 18/19. Perform a summer withdrawal in the 18/19 school year with a date of 7/1/18 thru the day before school.

Please remember closing Student Interventions at the end of the school year can easily be done from the Intervention Search on the home page of DataMap.
Districts will not be able to add students to their 2018 March lists through this appeals process

SDC Closing in the Afternoon on Friday, May 25
The Secure Data Center (SDC) will be closing in the afternoon on Friday, May 25 to prepare for this year’s report card processing. Data related to the FY18 Report Card will be available when the SDC reopens in June. For FY17 and prior years, the Local Report Card displays will be available in the “Archives” section of the report card website. Data for FY17 and prior years will also still be available in the SDC “Reports for Analysis” customizable reports when the SDC reopens in June. When the SDC reopens, you will be notified by Newsflash.
ProgressBook GradeBook Update
How and when do Attendance Totals show up in the Report Card Entry Screen for students?
Attendance totals will display 1 day after the Reporting Period End Date, as long as the Report Card Entry window for the current Reporting Period is open.
NOTE: There cannot be any Reporting Periods overlapping.
Special Services Update
As we close out the school year in Special Services, please remember to Complete all tasks including Progress Reports. The new ODE forms will be installed soon and there will be an option to create tasks with the new forms for events happening after July 1st.
June 22, 2018: We would like all the Year End Finalized forms signed and returned to NEOnet.
June 29, 2018: Special Services will be shut down for maintenance, school year rollover, and software updates. *Please note that we will send out notification when staff may have access again.
