DASL (Student Information) Update
Now that the dust has settled from the start of the school year, the DASL team would like to remind each district that utilizes family groups needs to reassign the courier. By reassigning the courier it will ensure that if any new student enrolled in the district and falls into the family courier district policy that student will be placed as the courier. To see your district policy go to: Management > District Administration > District Options. Here you will see if the youngest or oldest student is set to be the district courier. Once you have verified that is correct you can go to: Management>District Administration>Family Groups Wizard and check ‘Reassign Courier based on Family Courier District Policy and click next. Once you click next on the selection summary page all the steps are complete. You will see a green banner with Family Group Couriers' have been reset successfully!

DataMap’s Graduation Points gives you an overview of student graduation Credit Requirements and Graduation Pathways pulled directly from StudentInformation/DASL’s Grad Point Summary for each student.  However, in DataMap you are able to view a group of students with all of their Grad Point information listed with also the option to export all the information on the screen to excel.  Everyone in your district with access to DataMap has access to Graduation Points, Click Menu Icon > Graduation Points

Now is the time your 3rd party Fall Test Assessment data is becoming available to load in DataMap.  If you need any assistance or would like Professional Development/Training in DataMap, please contact NEOnet.

ProgressBook GradeBook Update
Try new GradeBook Grid Have you noticed at the top right of your current GradeBook Grid is a link  to access the new Gradebook Grid?  Just like the classic GradeBook Grid, the new one allows you to add daily comments, add assignment marks, and mark assignments as late, missing, and excluded; however, now you can also right-click inside of a cell for a particular student’s assignment to perform these actions, to copy and clear marks, and to view more details about the assignment.

You can now filter the grid by student or student group to more easily view assignments and you can select whether you want to view Basic indicators (late and missing) or All indicators.

The grid now automatically saves marks as you enter them.

At this time, you can click Use Classic Grid on the new grid if you want to continue using the old one, but it will be removed in a future release.
