DASL (Student Information) Update
In the upcoming 17.2 release a new medical icon will be added to notify users if a student has a life threatening medical alert. The new icon will be a red cross with a white background and will be available across the ProgressBook Suite.  For this icon to appear, the life threatening box must be checked on the student alert page (SIS>Student>Medical Alerts)

If you have any questions on this new feature, please contact studenthelp[at]neonet[dot]org.

DataMap has the ability to maintain and store a student’s Intervention information for as long as the student is in your district.  This allows teachers and administrators to view the student’s Interventions identifying the progress of the student as well as the areas the student has struggled with without having to dig through accum folders.

Intervention Program are customized by each district.  Districts may also choose to include a customized template to automatically populate when the program is selected for a student.  Many sample templates are available to be loaded in your district’s DataMap which you may modify to fit your districts needs.

To learn more about the Intervention piece in DataMap or if your district has a template they would like to create, please contact NEOnet.  We are more than happy to offer professional development to show your staff how to create a customized template as well as offer assistance when creating unique templates.

2018_STAFF_Equitable_Access_Analysis_Tool_<file date>.xls  - 2018 Equitable Access Analysis Tool for CCIP Planning
The Equitable Access Analysis Tool provides local education agencies with student and staffing data from 2016-2017 to engage in the FY18 local equitable access planning requirement in the CCIP. The tool provides data in a Microsoft Excel file that can be sorted for analysis purposes. The tool includes student measures, educator measures, and the Educator Workforce Strength Index. The Equitable Access Analysis Tool provides data at the state, district, and building levels. The tool allows educators to identify where, and to what extent, any inequities in access to excellent educators exist. Download and share the tool with appropriate staff (for example, Superintendent, Federal Programs Coordinators, Human Resources, and those who engage in federal programs planning process). Visit the local equity planning page for more information.
