DASL (Student Information) Update
Have you ever wanted to give a user access to the F (EMIS) Tabs on a student profile but didn’t want to give them full access to make changes? With the correct security, users can see a read only version of the EMIS tabs for the Student Profile at EZ Query>EZ Students>EMIS Demographic.
If you are interested in implementing this to you users you will need to greenlight the breadcrumb trail in their role. Below is a screenshot of how to make sure you role is set up correctly. If you have any questions regarding this screen or on how to set up the security role please contact studenthelp[at]neonet[dot]org.
DataMap is ProgressBook’s Data Analytics’ tool that helps educators make sense of student assessment data in order to improve instruction. DataMap also has the ability to maintain custom Interventions for each student as well as the ability to upload documentation to each student Intervention. Districts view this as a method to replace student accum folders which are now accessible at the click of a button. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) may also be maintained in DataMap. Many districts are currently taking advantage of the Free 60 Day Trial that is being offered by ProgressBook.
If your district is interested in DataMap , please contact Janet Hayes at Hayes[at]NEOnet[dot]org or ext 601112. We are more than happy to provide training during the Free 60 Day Trial as your district views your own student data to see how DataMap can help your teachers achieve greater success with their students.

New Report Cards and Report Card Revisions for the 2018-19 School Year:
It is never too early to think about elementary report card revisions for the upcoming school year. Should you anticipate changes to your elementary report cards, you may consider beginning the process now. The NEOnet report card policy is posted on our website by clickin here: NEOnet Report Card Policy. We can begin working on the new report cards at any time without disturbing what the teachers are currently using. Changes can communicated to studenthelp[at]neonet[dot]org or call us at ext. 601140. Please share this information with the appropriate people in your district.
Special Services Update
The student services team has been recieving many tickets regarding missing or lost data. Users should not be opening multiple tabs in Special Services or student(s) forms. Always observe the Open By column before editing/saving a form or Lock your forms. Below are screen shots and further explanation to help users understand this process:
Multiple Tabs Open:
You should never open two sessions or tabs.
If two tabs were open Data will be lost.
You can see if there is another staff in the form you would like to edit.
Do not edit a form another user is editing.
You can lock the form you are editing. Under Actions, check locked.
This is a simple way to ensure your form is not over written or your data is not lost.
And Always Remember Save!
