*ODE has published new versions of the Student “S” and select Assessment “A” collections.   Updates to the collections include new missing reports.  ODE is working on creating missing lists, DORP collection, OGT, and EOC, Next Gen 3-8, Alternate Assessment have just been published. 

*Please note that the EMIS Manual webpage has been updated. The following section of the Manual has been posted: Section 2.8: Student Assessment (FA) Record, version 7.1

Note that with this section, all known FY17 changes that impact the EMIS Manual have now been published. The sections remaining to be posted do not include FY17 changes; for these sections, the FY16 versions remain the current reporting instructions

Additional ACT Assessment Window - District that do not subscribe to receive a monthly CD and chose ACT for State will not receive a CD until Aug 1.  ODE is adding an additional ACT Assessment window opening Aug 1-31 for ACT only.  There will be NO appeal window.  ACT results missed in the August window can be reported in the upcoming 17G Graduate collection or FY18 Non-Statewide Accountability (NACC) collection next year. SAT electronic files will be received in time to report in NACC collection – so these will need to be reported by July 28 close date.

Data Appeal Window Open for Early Learning, COS, and OELPA Assessment Data
From Monday, July 17, through Wednesday, July 26, superintendents of traditional districts, community schools, STEM districts and educational service centers (ESC) can review early learning, child outcome summary and Ohio English language proficiency (OELPA) assessment data reported in EMIS during the 2016-2017 school year. Turning on integration for 17/18 school year: Reminder that you can request integration between DASL and Gradebook by either District or Building. The building must be done running the Batch Scheduler in DASL. Then when the student schedules are as close to correct as possible, the building can finalize a schedule result in DASL at Management-School Administration – DASL Options. Please EMAIL studenthelp[at]neonet[dot]org to request the integration to begin.  Please remember, integration of GradeBook with DASL requires 2 business days/nights to complete. 

You must be available the day after the first nightly load of information.  On that day, you will be required to complete the Cross Reference of the GradeBook Reporting terms to the DASL reporting terms.   This is found on the Admin home page, grading setup, cross reference.  You must have the role of MASTER to complete this step.
