AESOP/Kiosk Integration Completion
Data can now be transferred between AESOP and Kiosk. Data transfer can be set up to occur in intervals ranging from 5 minutes to 3 hours. So, if an employee calls into AESOP for a sick day, it will, at the interval you decide, transfer that information to the Kiosk automatically. This is significant because, in the past, data entered into AESOP had to also be loaded into the KIOSK manually. Going in the other direction, demographic data entered in the Kiosk will now transfer directly to AESOP.
If your district is interested in integrating AESOP and Kiosk please send fiscal[at]neonet[dot]org a heads up email. Then you will need to contact Jeremy Buckley of AESOP at jbuckley[at]ftemail[dot]com.
Period H Data Submission
July 30th Period H or the Financial FY13 Reporting Period opened. There are now two ways to submit this data to ODE, flat file and live collection. Both are sent through the SIFWorks VRFData Collector. The full flat file is necessary for flat file submission. A smaller flat file accompanies the live collection for live collection submission. The flat file submission is faster (1-3 minutes) than the live collection (up to 60 minutes), but other than that we have found no difference in the two processes.
As always we are happy to submit the files for you but any district that would like to submit their own data is welcome to do so and we will help you through the process. The submission deadline is September 30th with warning notifications beginning August 23rd.
