DASL (Student Information) Update
To view this screen go to the breadcrumb trail of SIS>Student>Graduation Points>Grad Points Search. In the top section you can now filter by grade level, counselor, AdHoc group or EMIS Membership to help narrow down your search. After choosing your search criteria the screen will show the students name, their credit progress, graduation pathway progress, and number of exemptions. Both the students name and exemptions are hyperlinks to navigate to further Grad Points information.
2017-2018 School Year
If you have completed SYI for 17/18 please remember that EMIS Calendar Exceptions must also be completed. We will offer two more trainings dedicated to Calendar exceptions on March 23 and April 11. Please sign up for all trainings on our website.
FTE Special Ed – ODE did add new adjustment on FTE reports several weeks ago, looking at Disability Not Funded due to breaks in IEP’s. Reminder to report an NIEP to cover the break if service being provided. ODE’s intent is to include the adjustments in March #2 payments for Traditional and April payment for Community Schools/JVSD. Traditional data for payments will be pulled March 13; and on/around March23 for CS/JVSD. Disability Missing (IEP missing adjustment) need cleaned up no later than March 10 and they should be fine as far as payment.

Trainings-Dates and times for the February–March 2017 ODE ITC EMIS Trainings have been set. These trainings will be offered on five different dates/times. The five trainings will cover the FY17 March Follow-up Collection as well as General Updates and ODDEX Updates.
Registrants are able to select a date that best fits their schedule at the time of registration. Prior registration is required and is now available in the STARS application. A SAFE account and completion of the STARS User Profile are required in order to register. Search for keyword “EMIS” within the STARS application to locate the trainings.
NEOnet is hosting a skype session on Thursday, March 2, 2017 – 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in Rooms F & G. Training on lower level and parking is located on the East side of building

Special Services Update
The Special Services 16.3 Release added more new banks for the IEP, ETR and WEP and updated the Completed Task Audit Report to include Read Only.
New District and User Banks
• IEP Cover Page - Other Information field
• IEP 7 Specially Designed Services, 8 Transportation as Service - Services area Accommodations field
• ETR 3 Specific Learning Disability (Additional) - Response to Scientific Research-Based Intervention, Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses, Documentation (Pre and Post), Observation, and Medical Findings fields
• ETR Referral for Evaluation (Additional) - Reason for Referral, Specify type and purpose of medication, and Specify health/development/physical problem fields
• WEP Measurable Annual Goals - State the policy for waiver of assignments and scheduling of tests, and Student Progress Measures fields
Banks can be accessed outside the forms by selecting the Menu icon>Manage Banks or within a form by selecting the Show/Hide Quick Menu>Banks.
Report Builder-Completed Tasks Audit Report
This report is installed in all the districts and provides a Read Only audit record of when a staff member clicks on the name of a student’s completed task to view the PDF or clicking the View Task button on the IEP Summary screen to view the PDF of the completed task as well. This is a great report to see if Regular Ed Staff are reading the IEPs online.
*Please note that the audit report only goes forward from 2-15-2017 when the 16.3 Release was installed.
