Early World of Learning has updated to a new look that brings a fresh face to an incredible resource for our youngest learners. Furthermore, the interface is now readily available when using iPads that have been commonly deployed in today’s classrooms. Professional Development Opportunities

INFOhio hosts professional development opportunities online. Visit the INFOhio website at for a full list of workshops, videoconferences and other opportunities. Recordings of past online professional development opportunities, handouts and resources, can be accessed. Miss the webinar or want to review something you heard? Don't worry!The sessions are recorded. Visit the INFOhio Webinar Archive section of the site to watch the recording and download materials provided for recent Learn With INFOhio webinars. You can now watch the recording and get a certificate for CEU's.Look for the Quiz/ Certificate link under "Session Material".

In August 2014 INFOhio hosted their third annual INFOhio Summer Boot Camp. An online opportunity to attend sessions on the latest trends and newest technologies. The recordings for these sessions are now available in the INFOhio webinar library. You can earn up to eight contact hours if you watch the Boot Camp recordings.

INFOhio Website

INFOhio launched a new website over the summer. You may have noticed that the old website was getting a little cumbersome and information was getting harder to locate. INFOhio decided to organize the new website from the ground up. All new and improved! Here are a couple tips you may find handy navigating the new site, from the main page:

  • Enter the electronic resources by grade groups
  • Click on the INFOhio Power button to jump to the Student or Educator landing page
  • Click on the banner for “Library Staff” to jump the librarians section. Here you will find links for the INFOhio toolkit (bookmarker templates, flyers, presentations, widgets, etc), the WorkFlows handbook, updated links to use for the INFOhio Electronic Resources (ER URL Links)
  • Tools and resources for educators
  • Calendar of upcoming events and webinars
  • A navigation bar has been added to the bottom of every page so users can jump to INFOhio resources


NEOnet Website

NEOnet launched a new website over the summer. Jeanne and I will be posting new information to the INFOhio Services sections of the website to keep you current on the library world. NEW to the website is the ability for you to sign up for meetings and workshops online. Click on the event title to read about the event. If interested, you can then click on the REGISTER for EVENT button. By entering your name and email address you will be reserving a space for yourself and you will receive an email confirmation with a calendar appointment attached.

The first Media Services Advisory Committee meeting of the year will be held on Thursday September 18th from 8:30am until 11:30am. During the afternoon, 12pm – 1:30PM, Andrea Eshelman from Gale | Cengage Learning will be providing lunch and talking about Gale/Cengage products. The meeting dates for the rest of the year are:
