DASL (Student Information) Update
The new Ad Hoc Report Icon in DASL is full of reports that have been distributed by the DASL state team. For the most up to date list of reports available please go to the DASL homepage and under announcements is the “Ad Hoc Report Listing” link.

Three newer reports that we would like to mention are the Daily Attendance Detail, Immunization Matrix and Student Immunization Summary.

The Daily Attendance Detail will give you all daily attendance for the day and include the last date it was modified and what user made the change.

The Immunization Matrix provides a list of students who have immunization series information in a format where you can easily see which series are entered and which ones are missing.
Lastly, the Student Immunization Summary report will print each students immunizations separated by a page break. This report can be beneficial to print for seniors to include with transcripts. If you are interested in adding a grade level filter to the report please contact studenthelp[at]neonet[dot]org

EMIS Update:
ODE is once again offering face-to-face ODE/ITC EMIS sessions. NEOnet has been scheduled for Friday, May 19th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with Kelly Rinehart from ODE.

NEOnet is also hosting the “FY17 End of Year DASL Checklist training” for FY17S and FY17G reporting on Friday, May 19th from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

To register for these events, go to:

Districts may want to start working on checklist tasks that need to be completed for end of year reporting.  End of Year FY17S and SY17G Checklist for Traditional and Community schools can be found at:

Note: Task 31 for Traditional districts and Task 30 for Community schools.  It has been recommended that the Power Withdrawal not be updated until at least 10 days prior to the seniors last day.  Seniors should be withdrawn using the last day of attendance not the last day of school.

ProgressBook GradeBook Update
New Report Cards and Report Card Revisions for the 2017-18 School Year:
It is never too early to think about elementary report card revisions for the upcoming school year.  Should you anticipate changes to your elementary report cards, you may consider beginning the process now.  The NEOnet report card policy is posted on our website, Services, ProgressBook, ProgressBook documentation, NEOnet Report Card Policy.  We can begin working on the new report cards at any time without disturbing what the teachers are currently using.  Please share this information with the appropriate people in your district.

Special Services Update

Completing Tasks:
This is a good time to make sure that All ETRs, IEPs, BIPs, SOPs, 504 Plans, Service Plans and Other Tasks that have been finished by your staff, including Progress Reports that have no remaining reporting periods are Completed.  This should be done before your personnel leaves for the school year.

There are two reports in Special Services that can help with this process.  The Completed Tasks Report will show all open tasks by student and building.  The Sps Open Task by Owner shows who created the tasks.    There are still many IEPs, ETRs, etc. that have been open since the beginning of the school year.  This is a good place to start asking the teachers to look at and Complete.
