Fiscal Software Migration Progress

Congratulations to Maple Heights City Schools who went Live on Redesign April 1st!  The current round of districts include: Buckeye and Twinsburg for Redesign and Medina City for eFinancePLUS.

Beginning in July, Parma will be migrating to Redesign and Stow City Schools will be beginning the conversion process to eFinancePLUS.

Classic State Software Office Hours – May 3rd

We have added new office hours directed at our Classic State Software users. The first of which will be held on May 3rd from 1:00 -3:00 via Zoom. During these meetings, the NEOnet fiscal team will present timely topics, as well as answer any specific questions from our users.  Users should feel free to bring questions for their peers as well. These office hours will not replace our FYE and CYE meetings.

eFinancePLUS Upgrade to 20.11 - Anticipated Timeline

Beginning this fall, the latest major upgrade to eFP will be rolled out to the districts under the MCOECN hosted umbrella.  Testing will begin in August and migrations of 10 districts at a time will start each Monday and Wednesday beginning October 4th.  Below is the anticipated schedule for NEOnet’s eFP districts. Payroll dates were taken into consideration when this schedule was created by the MCOECN. If you have any concerns about the date of migration for your district, please contact fiscal[at]neonet[dot]org as soon as possible.  More information will be sent out as we approach the upgrade date.

Below is a list of some of the enhancements in this upgrade:

  • Persona-based dashboards with enhanced notifications, KPI charts and job specific info
  • Enhanced Workflow – increased levels of workflow (>5)
  • Add-On Module for Employee Expense Reimbursement
  • Add-On module for Student activities

NEOnet SOC1

NEOnet’s SOC1 audit for the period of April 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021 will begin on May 10th. In preparation of that audit, we sent out the Fiscal User Account Audit to each treasurer. Please return these forms to Lisa Nash (nash[at]neonet[dot]org) by end of day on April 30th.  For those districts who are no longer using Classic State Software, but still have active user accounts in Classic, we ask that you consider deleting as many user accounts in Classic as possible.  For districts who have migrated to Redesign, all historical information is available within your USxS-R databases, and therefore the Classic user accounts may no longer be necessary. If you have questions about the Classic user accounts in your district, please contact Lisa Nash.
