DASL (Student Information) Update

Starting with the 2018-2019 school year, we will start having DataMap Roundtable Meetings!! We would like your input as to whether you would like to have the DataMap Roundtable meetings following another product such as DASL/StudentInformation, SpeicalServices or as a stand-alone meeting. In order to complete the report card on time, ODE will need to transfer student demographic and assessment data to SAS much earlier in August than in prior years. Any collection used for the SAS calculations must close by Wednesday, July 18. Appeals will close on Friday, July 27. District should try to submit appeals early since this is such a short window.

ProgressBook GradeBook Update
The GradeBook End of Year Meeting is scheduled for May 16th. This meeting is for users with the role of School Administrator and Master. It includes a review of what rolls over from year to year, what doesn’t roll over, what should be documented for next year’s setup and a review what can be done prior to integration once GradeBook is available.
The GradeBook Beginning of the Year Meetings are for users with the role of School Administrator and Master. The agenda includes a review of what rolls over from year to year, demonstrating the process of setting up GradeBook and ParentAccess for the school year, and a review of what is new in GradeBook.
Beginning of Year Setup Meetings are for users with School Administrator or Master access and responsible for setting up GradeBook and ParentAccess for the start of school. Integration must be completed as this is hands on.
